GREENSBORO, North Carolina-- The honda motor that started to make business jet will increase production from the current two to three aircraft a month to six to seven by the year ending 2019.
a source from honda aircraft here said annual production of hondajet will increase to 80 aircruft by 2019.
Also the company will start producing some of the core
engine parts in-house in the spring of 2017, with a goal of selling them to
other aircraft makers. For this, the company will build a new factory, aiming
to improve its competitiveness by improving quality and lowering costs.
Production will be increased gradually in cooperation with parts
suppliers, the source said.
Honda Aircraft has received over 100 orders from European and U.S.
customers; it has delivered about 20 jets.
